Job Description: SAP Architect (SC Cleared)

Location: Lancashire (Client location) and Central London. Hybrid mode (2 days per week).

Duration: 6 months initial contract

IR35 Status: Inside

Overview

In 2024, our client was selected as a Digital Transformation partner. This SAP S/4HANA Greenfield Programme involves designing, building, testing, and deploying end-to-end processes across Finance, Project Systems, Indirect Procurement, Sales & Distribution, and HR - Timesheet capability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design new business processes; create documentation for implementation.
• Partner with the business to define S/4HANA requirements and use cases.
• Participate in user and task analysis to represent business needs.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep knowledge in Finance.
• Influence and advise stakeholders; engage with multiple teams and make team decisions.
• Provide cross-team solutions and address business area problems.
• Master proficiency in SAP Project System (PS) and Cost Controlling; basic knowledge of SAP for Aerospace & Defense is advantageous.
• Lead the design, build, test, and deployment of Project Systems and integration with Procurement, SD, Finance, and Microsoft Project.
• Conduct process configuration, develop test scripts, and execute testing.
• Lead workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on new processes.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and quality; manage internal and external teams.
