Job summary

SCT Resources is seeking an experienced BI/Data Warehouse specialist for a contract role with an international pharmaceutical enterprise. You will deliver SAP BI/BW solutions, establish connectivity to source systems, and contribute to the BI strategy and roadmaps.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with data warehouse, ETL, testing, documentation, and training. You will collaborate with project staff and customer representatives to define requirements and implement BI solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data warehouse solutions using SAP BI portfolio.
• Ability to connect to source systems and integrate data.
• Contribute to BI strategy, target architecture and roadmaps.
• Improve Enterprise BI solutions and meet customer requirements.
• Produce test scripts and supporting test data.
• Create project and solution documentation and status reports.
• Provide training and supporting collateral.

Responsibilities

• Engage with project staff and customer reps to capture processes and reporting needs.
• Analyse and prioritise requirements to define BI solutions.
• Facilitate customer data cleansing activities.
• Define and deliver training and support as required.
• Resolve in-project technical issues and support during warranty.
• Liaise with development staff to meet BI requirements.
• Follow standard development methodologies and data warehouse design approaches.
• Activate/modify SAP BI content and create custom SAP solutions.

Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate experienced in delivering data warehouse solutions using the SAP Business Intelligence product portfolio.
• We need someone who can establish connectivity to appropriate source systems.
• We expect the candidate to adhere to and contribute to our BI strategy, target architecture, roadmap, standards, and best practices.
• We want someone who proactively improves our Enterprise Business Intelligence solutions estate.
• Experience with data warehouse applications and ETL capabilities that meet customer requirements is required.
• The candidate should be able to produce test scripts and supporting test data.
• Experience creating project and solution support documentation is required.
• The candidate should be able to prepare activity and task plans and in-project status reports.
• Experience providing training, coaching, education, and supporting collateral is required.
• We are looking for someone who can work with SAP Business Intelligence / SAP Business Warehouse content and custom development.

Responsibilities:

• We engage with project staff and customer representatives to capture detailed business processes and reporting and analysis needs.
• We analyse, challenge, and prioritise customer requirements to define appropriate Business Intelligence solutions.
• We facilitate customer data cleansing activities.
• We define and deliver training and support as required.
• We resolve in-project technical issues.
• We provide customer support during the warranty period in line with predefined service level agreements.
• We liaise with technical development staff to ensure business intelligence and analysis requirements are met.
• We follow industry and company standard development methodologies.
• We understand different data warehouse design approaches.
• We activate and modify standard SAP Business Information Warehouse Business Content as required.
• We create custom SAP solutions.
