Job summary

Nine Twenty Recruitment’s client, a well-established organisation, seeks a BI professional to design, develop, and deliver a robust BI platform that underpins core business activities and decision making.

You will partner with a BI Technical Leader and stakeholders across the business to ensure governance, validate reporting demands, and maintain documentation. The role supports critical business cycles and aims to continuously improve data quality, process efficiency, and end-user engagement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity and governance of the BI platform, providing trusted, reliable reporting solutions
• Review and validate new reporting requirements, identifying risks and gaps in the existing data model
• Develop and maintain documentation (report design specifications, testing templates, etc.) to support internal processes and drive continuous improvement
• Deliver and maintain the BI platform in support of critical business cycles (e.g. FX, budgeting, forecasting, year-end processes)
• Support the promotion of new content through the development lifecycle in line with business requirements
• Ensure deployed solutions align with reporting governance principles, business requirements, and service delivery standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement in process, performance, productivity, and quality
• Maintain a strong understanding of data modelling and data platform concepts to ensure BI solutions are appropriately designed, developed, and maintained
• Contribute to and champion the ongoing BI strategy alongside business leaders, encouraging end-user engagement
• Proactively share knowledge with the wider team, documenting procedures to the required standard
• Provide end-to-end system support for BI applications, including meeting support SLAs and system uptime targets
