Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services UK&I is seeking an SAP RAP ABAP developer to design, develop, test, and maintain SAP Fiori-ready applications and OData services using RAP in an S/4 HANA environment.

Location is London with full-time hours. You will transform legacy ABAP programs to S/4 HANA, design CDS/AMDP, develop Adobe forms, and drive end-to-end testing and collaboration with business users.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SAP ABAP Cloud Development (S4 HANA & BTP).
• Strong hands-on experience in creating and extending RAP BOs with both Managed and Unmanaged scenarios.
• Experience in creating at least 2 level drill down custom application with at least one parent child relationship.
• Must have experience in API calling and handling deep structures in API calls.
• Strong hands-on development experience in OOPS ABAP.
• Strong knowledge with New ABAP syntaxes, Adobe forms, AMDP, CDS, ALV, BADI & BAPI.
• Knowledge with Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots.
• Good understanding of SAP’s clean core architecture and approach.
• Sound knowledge in performance optimization and SAP best practices in ABAP area.
• Clean Core Extension knowledge
• Experience/knowledge in Professional Services development
• SAP Build Knowledge
• Developing experience with SAP BTP
• Work experience in S4 HANA Public Cloud

The Role

An SAP RAP ABAP developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP Fiori-ready applications and OData services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

Your responsibilities:

• Transform traditional ABAP programs in legacy SAP system into S/4 HANA architecture.
• Design and implement CDS and AMDP based on business requirement.

Your Profile
