Job summary

Subway Sandwich Artist role in the United Kingdom is the face of our franchise stores, serving guests and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will meet and greet guests, prepare Subway sandwiches, and work as part of a team to maintain brand standards and hygiene. Full training is provided to develop your skills and career within the Subway brand.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food handling and customer service is desirable but not essential.
• Full training provided including Subway University courses.
• A winning attitude and willingness to learn are important.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food storage and prep areas to Health & Safety standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate tills and handle transactions.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers.
• Present a neat appearance in Subway uniform and act as a team player.

A Subway® Sandwich Artist™ is the face of our Franchisees’ stores. As well as preparing and serving delicious Subway® sandwiches you will meet and greet guests and deliver exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Till Operator
• Monitoring stock levels
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Follow security & safety procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway® brand and customer expectations
• Work as a team member
• Deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales and catering for customer needs.

As aSandwich Artist™ you will serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. In this role you will promoteSubway® brand awarenessand ensure hygiene standards are met.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses.
