Job summary

Subway is hiring a Sandwich Artist to be the face of our stores in the UK. You will prepare and serve sandwiches, greet guests and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will be part of a team, follow health and safety standards, and receive comprehensive Subway training to support career progression toward supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service desirable but not essential.
• Full training provided via Subway courses.
• Winning attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and prep areas meet Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Till operator responsibilities.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
• Maintain high personal presentation in Subway uniform.
• Work as part of a team.
• Deliver high standard of service for products, sales and catering.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Till Operator
• Monitoring stock levels
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Follow security & safety procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway® brand and customer expectations
• Work as a team member
• Deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales and catering for customer needs.

As aSandwich Artist™ you will serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. In this role you will promoteSubway® brand awarenessand ensure hygiene standards are met.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses.
