United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer on the AI Infrastructure team to build and evolve our agent sandboxing platform—the secure, high-performance code execution layer powering our agentic workflows across internal and customer-managed environments.

This role blends deep systems work with a strong developer experience focus: clean APIs, robust error messages, great docs, and a client library that feels crafted.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building high-performance systems software.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals: isolation, memory management, cgroups, namespaces.
• Experience with containerisation and virtualisation technologies.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, or C/C++.
• Strong focus on developer experience: API design, error propagation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the sandboxing platform, client library, and API surface for secure code execution.
• Ensure strong isolation, security, and reproducibility across user sessions.
• Optimise cold-start latency, memory footprint, and resource use at scale.
• Lead debugging, monitoring, and preventive fixes to reduce error rates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and shape the platform roadmap.
• Handle incidents with root-cause analysis and rapid corrective actions.
• Help develop and maintain a product roadmap for sandboxing and architecture.
• Lead architecture reviews and own projects end-to-end.
