Job summary

UL Solutions in the UK is seeking a highly organized Sample Handler to oversee the flow of products and materials through our testing laboratories in Telford. You will ensure items are in the right place at the right time, coordinating with engineers, lab teams and project engineers.

This role is ideal for someone with a logistics, stores or warehouse background who enjoys coordinating operations in a technical environment while safeguarding high-value customer products used in construction

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouses/logistics or stores is preferred.

We're looking for a highly organised Sample Handler to manage the flow of products and materials through our testing laboratories. This role could be ideal for someone from a warehouse, logistics, stores, inventory control, goods-in/goods-out, or materials management background who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring products are in the right place at the right time.

Unlike a traditional warehouse role, you'll be responsible for managing high-value customer products that support the testing and certification of construction products used in buildings around the world. You'll work closely with engineers, laboratory teams, and project engineers, giving you exposure to a unique technical environment while applying the transferable skills you've developed in logistics, stores, or warehouse operations.
