Job summary

Syntax Consultancy Ltd is seeking a Salesforce Vlocity Architect for a 3 month contract in Newbury. Role is hybrid with 3 days remote and 2 days in the Newbury office. Daily rate £550 outside IR35. Start ASAP, ideally August 2026.

You will design and implement Salesforce Vlocity CPQ and Order Management, build end-to-end CRM solutions using Sales/Service/Community Clouds, and translate business needs into technical designs. Collaboration with stakeholders is key.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Salesforce Vlocity platform architecture design, development and implementation experience on Vlocity CPQ and Order Management.
• Experience delivering end-to-end CRM solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud.
• Translating business requirements into Salesforce Vlocity functional/technical specifications and solution design artifacts.
• Gathering requirements, estimating scope, drafting proposals, supporting pre-sales and leading customer workshops.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define business needs and translate into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Lead Management, Quote to Cash, Case Management and Call Centre processes.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AppExchange products, Wave Analytics and Salesforce Vlocity Marketing is preferred.
• Salesforce Vlocity CPQ and OM certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Salesforce Vlocity architecture for CPQ and Order Management.
• Lead end-to-end CRM solution delivery across Sales, Service and Community Clouds.
• Create functional and technical design docs from business requirements.
• Support pre-sales activities and run customer workshops during discovery.
• Translate client needs into scalable technical solutions and roadmap.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Support integration between Salesforce and external systems via SOAP/REST.

Working with a global IT Consultancy supporting a Telecoms end client with a Salesforce integration programme:

• Hands on Salesforce Vlocity platform architecture design, development + implementation experience on Vlocity CPQ + Order Management.
• Implementing end-to-end CRM solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud + Community Cloud.
• Transforming business requirement into Salesforce Vlcoity functional / technical requirements specifications + solution design documentation.
• Requirements gathering, estimating scope of work, proposals + supporting pre-sales + conducting customer workshops during project discovery phase.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to define client business needs + translate these into technical solutions.
• Expertise in Lead Management process, Quote to Cash, Case Management + Call Centre processes.
• Integration between Salesforce + other systems using SOAP + REST API.
• Experience of App Exchange products, Wave Cloud + Salesforce Vlocity Marketing preferred.
• Salesforce Vlcoity CPQ, OM certifications preferred
