Job summary

Visionet Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to own and evolve a large, mature Salesforce platform in a 12-month contract. You will combine deep Salesforce expertise with hands-on software engineering, remaining actively involved in development, debugging and refactoring.

The role focuses on modernising a heavily customised production environment, improving stability, CI/CD, and release practices while mentoring the team and reviewing designs.

12-month contract| Hands-on technical leadership

We’re looking for an experienced **Salesforce Technical Architect** to take technical ownership of a large, mature and business-critical Salesforce platform.

This is a brownfield modernisation role — not a purely advisory architecture position. You’ll combine deep Salesforce expertise with strong software-engineering skills and remain hands‑on.

What you’ll do

• Own and evolve the Salesforce application architecture
• Modernise a heavily customised production environment
• Work across Apex, LWC, Flow, integrations, data and asynchronous processing
• Improve application stability, reliability, observability and supportability
• Establish better patterns for error handling, logging, monitoring, retry and reconciliation
• Review and manage complex managed-package dependencies (Bullhorn experience desirable)
• Improve CI/CD, source control, environments, testing and release practices
• Help enable smaller, safer and more frequent releases
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and code/design reviews
• Stay hands‑on with development, debugging, refactoring and proof‑of‑concept work

What we’re looking for

• Deep, recent hands‑on Salesforce engineering experience
• Strong Apex, LWC, Flow, APIs, transactions, governor limits, bulk processing and Platform Events knowledge
• Proven experience architecting and modernizing complex brownfield Salesforce environments
• Strong software‑engineering and distributed‑systems fundamentals
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and source control
• Someone pragmatic, curious and comfortable getting into complex existing code and production behaviour
• Strong technical leadership skills without needing formal line‑management authority

Salesforce certifications are useful but not essential — engineering depth and practical architecture experience matter most.
