Job summary

PPL PRS Limited in Leicester is seeking an experienced Salesforce Engineer to deliver enhancements, automate processes, and support integrations. You will work with Apex, Flows, and Lightning components, while ensuring robust change control and production stability.

A strong background in BAU support, SLAs, and cross‑team collaboration is essential. The role emphasizes complex problem solving, stakeholder communication, and ongoing Salesforce platform optimization within a hybrid remote setup

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience on Salesforce.
• Hands-on with Apex, Flows, Visualforce and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience supporting Salesforce integrations (API or middleware).
• Experience in support/BAU/operational environments.
• Strong troubleshooting in production systems.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I preferred; willing to certify.
• Familiar with Sales/Service/Experience Cloud.
• Experience with Agile or structured change processes.
• Strong analytical and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver minor enhancements and fixes within Salesforce.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows and Lightning components.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce features (objects, fields, rules, layouts, approvals).
• Ensure changes follow testing and deployment processes.
• Act as technical escalation for the Salesforce Support Team.
• Investigate and root-cause recurring incidents.
• Determine resolution scope between support andInternal DevTeam.
• Improve issue definitions and escalation clarity.
• Provide technical recommendations when escalating.
• Support and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and third‑party systems.
• Troubleshoot integration incidents and support Jitterbit integrations.
• Collaborate with admins and developers to resolve issues.
• Document fixes and knowledge in JIRA and Confluence.
• Translate issues into well-defined tasks with acceptance criteria.
• Share knowledge to raise team capability.
• Identify recurring issues and propose preventative improvements.
• Suggest improvements to tooling, monitoring, and stability.
• Stay current with Salesforce updates and best practices.
