Job summary

G MASS Consulting is seeking an experienced QA Lead / Test SME for a leading UK wealth manager in London. You will establish an independent, risk-based QA capability as the CRM moves to Salesforce, and modernise how changes are delivered across client portals, mobile apps and internal platforms.

The role is hands-on with an early start, baselining current QA, designing the operating model, and leading testing of the Salesforce programme independently of the implementation partner.

Qualifications

• Experience leading testing across Salesforce implementations in wealth management or regulated finance.
• Ownership of SIT, UAT and data migration testing with a systems integrator.
• Track record building or resetting a QA function with strategy, metrics, environments and release processes.
• Hands-on Salesforce test automation and web/API/mobile automation.

Responsibilities

• Baseline the current QA position and establish core metrics (defect leakage, test turnaround, release readiness).
• Define and embed the QA operating model and test strategy with roles, gates and SLAs.
• Own the Salesforce test strategy across SIT, UAT, data migration and regression testing.
• Provide independent tooling recommendations and integration with the existing stack.
• Establish test environments and data strategy, including sandbox management.
• Modernise regression automation to cut cycles from days to hours.
• Manage QA across the release cycle and coordinate UAT with product managers.
• Build the business case and ROI for the target QA model and present options to CTO and finance.
• Develop capability in risk-based and automated testing within Agile delivery.
