Job summary

G MASS, a leading UK wealth manager, seeks an experienced QA Lead / Test SME to establish a risk-based QA capability while migrating CRM to Salesforce. You will design and embed the QA operating model, lead independent testing across SIT/UAT, data migration and regression, and advocate for tooling choices that integrate with the existing stack.

Qualifications

• Baseline the current QA position and establish core metrics like defect leakage and release readiness.
• Define and embed the QA operating model and test strategy with risk-based prioritisation.
• Own the Salesforce test strategy across SIT, UAT, data migration and regression testing.
• Provide independent tooling recommendations and integration with the stack.
• Establish environment and data strategy including Salesforce sandbox management.
• Modernise regression automation to cut cycles from days to hours.
• Lead QA across squads and coordinate UAT with product managers.
• Build the business case and ROI for the QA model for CTO and finance.
• Develop capability in risk-based and automated testing within Agile delivery.
• Evaluate AI-assisted testing where it improves speed and coverage.
• Demonstrate experience across ≥2 full-lifecycle Salesforce implementations in wealth manage/regulated finance.
• Own SIT, UAT and data migration testing with SI partners.
• Track record of building or resetting a QA function including metrics and release process.
• Hands-on Salesforce test automation plus web/API/mobile automation (BDD).
• Communicate risk-based testing benefits clearly to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Recommend Salesforce test tooling (Copado/Provar/Tricentis) and integration.
• Establish test env and data strategy, including sandbox management.
• Modernise regression automation and CI integration.
• Manage QA through Salesforce release cycles and platform patches.
• Lead QA day-to-day across squads and coordinate UAT with product managers.
• Build business case and ROI for QA model and present options to CTO.
• Grow QA capability in risk-based and automated testing within Agile delivery.
• Explore AI-assisted test generation for speed and coverage.
• Demonstrate multi-Salesforce implementation testing across wealth/regulated finance.
• Partner with SI to manage SIT/UAT/data migration testing and legacy CRM migration.
