Job summary

Aurora Energy Research in Oxford seeks a hands-on Salesforce Architect to own and evolve our Salesforce platform. You will shape architectural direction, balance declarative versus coded solutions, and ensure scalable, well-governed systems across Sales Cloud, Pardot, and Revenue Cloud.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Salesforce data model, security and sharing
• Experience owning Salesforce solution design across Sales Cloud and CPQ
• Hands-on with Pardot and marketing automation integrations
• Experience architecting Revenue Cloud / CPQ end-to-end processes
• Proven ability to design and govern Lead-to-Cash across Salesforce and external systems
• Strong Apex, triggers, governor limits, and bulk-safe design knowledge
• Experience building declarative automations with Salesforce Flow
• Proficient in REST API integrations and integration patterns
• Data migration, data management, and data quality practices using Data Loader

Responsibilities

• Act as in-house technical authority for Salesforce within Internal Technology
• Set and govern technical standards, patterns and platform roadmap
• Architect Revenue Cloud / CPQ, lead-to-order and end-to-end processes
• Design and deliver REST API integrations with external systems
• Lead data migration, data management and data governance initiatives
• Collaborate with Commercial/Advisory Systems Managers translating business roadmaps into tech solutions
• Represent Salesforce changes to Change Advisory Board and manage releases
• Mentor junior administrators and raise overall technical capability of the team
• Oversee platform scope: Sales Cloud, Pardot, Revenue Cloud and integrations
