Job summary

The Sage Group plc is hiring a Salesforce Developer for the Product Engineering Team in Winnersh, Reading area, United Kingdom. This role is hybrid (3 days onsite) and involves hands-on Apex, SOQL, JavaScript development on the Salesforce platform within Sage People, a global HR SaaS product.

You’ll work with a cross-functional team, contribute to a product roadmap, and help evolve the platform with AI-driven capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development on Salesforce platform, not a config/admin role.
• Experience with Apex, SOQL and JavaScript.
• Proven OO programming experience (Java or C#).
• Experience delivering scalable solutions on Salesforce Lightning.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with the platform, delivering customer and people management functionality.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions and system thinking.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Angular engineers, Testers, PMs and Architects; participate in Scrum/SAFe ceremonies and product releases.
