Our hybrid working arrangement allows you to work from home 2 days per week, with 3 days in our state-of-the-art offices in central Sheffield.

The role:

Join UniHomes' growth story and shape the future of our Salesforce ecosystem. As a Salesforce Engineer, you'll collaborate with a close-knit team including a Salesforce Developer, a Salesforce Administrator, and our Head of Salesforce. Your work will range from small enhancements to transformative changes, contributing significantly to our business evolution.

You will be responsible for advancing our CRM development initiatives, working three days at our Sheffield office and two days remotely. Reporting to the Head of CRM, you will craft, test, and deploy Salesforce applications and features using declarative configurations and programmatic methods like Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Ensuring seamless integration with external systems, maintaining data accuracy, and performing data modeling, migration, and cleansing will also be key responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into solutions within Salesforce.
• Enhance Salesforce features through automation tools like flows, process builders, and validation rules.
• Prioritize scalable solutions primarily through declarative approaches, leveraging programmatic elements when necessary.
• Maintain documentation of customizations and development methodologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot, innovate, and support technical issues and enhancements.
• Stay updated on Salesforce updates, industry trends, and best practices to optimize solutions.

Skills and experience:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce declarative configuration and limitations.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Experience with Salesforce customization tools like workflows, validation rules, process builders, and formula fields.
• Understanding of Salesforce data modeling, management, and migration.
• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns linking with external systems.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator) are a plus.
