In order to take our sales department to the nextlevel, we are looking to welcome a Fleet Sales Team Leader to report into our Sales Manager with the purpose of increasing the effectiveness of ouroverall sales through structured and consistent delivery of management alignedto sales technique, sales strategy, and sales theory/philosophy.

This role is about leading the sales department.Inspiring them will be crucial to the success of this role across our Fuel division.

Requirements
  • To lead by example,motivate and develop a varied team of salespeople and various sales channels.
  • Actively supportyour team by being highly present on the sales floor, engaging and inspiring.This can be in scheduled sessions such as a morning meetings.
  • To use the CRM as asales tool and support team members in effective utilisation.
  • Set clear performancegoals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement strategies toenhance team productivity.
  • Create belief, set a compelling vision, buildstrongconnections & foster a positive, inclusive, and winning teamculture.
  • Celebrate successes and recognize achievements in ameaningful way, consistently.
  • Identify individual development needs and create tailoredcoaching plans.
  • Stay updated on product, market, and competitor insightsand share knowledge effectively
  • Ensure the team adheres to processes, compliance, andquality standards.
  • Develop and implementeffective sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to drive revenue growth,upsell effectively and expand the customer base.
  • Oversee the salespipeline, ensuring it's robust, accurate, and effectively managed to meetrevenue targets.
  • Understand our customer portfolio and allocate data forSales Agents to target effectively.
  • Provide tracking updates and forecasts to the SalesManager.
  • Partner with Recruitment/People to Recruit, coach, anddevelop Sales Agents to achieve consistent results.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and departments to enhance theSales Department's operation.
  • Communicate effective sales techniques and strategies tobuild a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance and quality standards are met in allcustomer interactions.

To have the ability tocontribute to The Fuel Store’s success, you will need proven experience in:
  • Provendemonstratable experience in a Sales leadership role.
  • Growing Customer Acquisition and Customer Success
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell Success to increase total spend
  • Driving Team Productivity and Performance Metrics
  • Theability to learn quickly and take in complex information
  • Familiaritywith dynamics 365 CRM systems and sales processes
  • Leadingmultichannel sales teams.
  • Proactive andself-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to take initiative anddrive results.
  • Relevant certificationsin sales management or leadership (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) areadvantageous.
  • Familiaritywith the Oil/Gas/Energy or Fuel industries is advantageous.
