The Function & Team

Sales Support is a newly created function within Triple Point’s Distribution team. Working alongside Retail Sales, it supports the day-to-day needs of financial advisers and their clients. It brings together the processes that support sales execution and ongoing client relationship management, helping to create a joined-up service and better outcomes for our customers.

Purpose of the role

As the first Sales Support Manager, the individual will shape and lead this new function, putting clear, effective processes and frameworks in place to support a sales team of more than 35 people. The individual is responsible for the quality of the Distribution team’s data, the processes that depend on it, and the day-to-day link between Distribution and Digital and Tech. The role combines leadership with hands‑on involvement: they will ensure the team’s responsibilities are delivered, pick up day-to-day requests and tasks as they arise, and look ahead to anticipate future needs and shape how Sales Support develops.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Team management and development: Manage team members through regular one-to-ones and coaching meetings.
  • Data management and organisation: Take ownership of the accuracy and upkeep of the CRM and sales intelligence systems. Proactively maintain and update records from the Strategic Partnerships and Sales teams on a regular and ad hoc basis, ensuring the team has access to timely, well‑organised and reliable information.
  • Data and policy oversight: Monitor Distribution team’s adherence to data standards and policies. Identify gaps and work with the relevant stakeholders to create and deliver plans to address them. This will involve working closely with Digital and Tech to shape CRM changes collaboratively and communicate them clearly to the relevant teams.
  • Literature management: Manage day‑to‑day hard copy literature requests and requirements for financial advisers and events. Liaise with the Retail Sales team and couriers to ensure materials are delivered on time.
  • Process design and improvement: Work closely with Sales leaders to identify better ways of working and improve efficiency in their roles. Design, document and implement day‑to‑day processes and progress changes to systems and processes where needed. For example, develop a process for outsourcing literature management. Keeping this information up to date through regular reviews will also be a key priority.
  • Event and webinar support: Support the Event Lead with planning and delivery, including coordinating pre‑event briefs and tasks, and ensuring supplier deadlines are met. Prepare briefing and follow‑up notes for internal teams, help manage event follow‑up by providing accurate data in campaigns, and ensure materials and equipment are returned after each event.
  • Sales and Client Services team training and onboarding: Train and onboard new Sales and Client Services team members on relevant processes and systems. Ensure each new starter follows a thorough training plan, with ongoing support provided to team members in the field.
  • Cross‑team collaboration: Build strong working relationships across all distribution teams, champion shared priorities and bring people, relationships and processes together. This will provide the foundation for identifying data quality and process issues, and for developing and owning a clear plan to address them.
  • Priority management: Agree and communicate priorities during periods of heightened business demand, working with teams to make effective decisions when available resources cannot meet every need.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role supporting a sales function, including leading or managing others.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, including an understanding of plug‑ins, system integrations and how data flows between systems.
  • Working knowledge of UK GDPR and related Data Protection practices.
  • Experience working in an FCA‑regulated business.
  • Experience of working with financial advisers and paraplanners.
  • Technically confident and proficient in using business systems, with familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
  • Strong data literacy, with the confidence and experience to handle large and varied datasets.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively with teams across Triple Point’s Distribution function, with a willingness to pull together and help out during busier times
  • Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and conduct.
Why Join us?
  • You’ll join a talented, collaborative team in a connected environment where ideas and initiative are valued.
  • Be part of a growing team
  • We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
