Job summary

Brown & Brown Health and Employee Benefits is recruiting a Sales Support Team Leader to oversee day-to-day leadership, performance and quality management of the Sales Support Team, delivering a first-class administrative and client service to the sales function.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role combines hands-on expertise with people leadership and QA, acting as a bridge between front-line delivery and management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior sales support or team supervisory role.
• Strong operational knowledge of at least 1 product area (Group Risk / Health Insurance / Private Medical Insurance).
• Excellent organisational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to develop and obtain relevant professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the Sales Support Team, ensuring tasks are allocated effectively and deadlines are met.
• Oversee accurate processing of new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments across product lines with QA checks.
• Maintain strong relationships with Consultants, Clients and Insurers to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Ensure all activity complies with FCA regulations, Treating Customers Fairly and data protection requirements.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Operations Manager and senior leadership.
