About the opportunity | Te whai waahi

By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career.

Our local Stratford store is looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to join the team! This role offers real variety. You will provide support and advice to our customers and assist in the busy operation of our retail store.

There is an opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and explore multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, making this an excellent starting point.

Please note, hours of work will be Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, with rostered Saturday mornings from 9am – 12pm.

About you | Moe koe

You’ll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service or sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. However, we’re also open to candidates looking to transition straight from farm work or those currently working as customer experts eager to learn about the ag/dairy industry.

Key qualities we’re looking for include:

• Rural experience (beneficial but not essential)
• Valid forklift / Dangerous Goods license or willingness to obtain one
• A full, clean driver’s license
