Sales Specialist - Industrial

This position reports to

UK Industrial Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, aligned with the division strategy. You will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will identify and develop new sales opportunities. The work model is: Hybrid, covering Hampshire, Kent, South London, Sussex, Berkshire. This role contributes to the Electrification, Smart Buildings UK business. Main stakeholders include customers, sales, product marketing, and operations teams. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Meeting the annual area sales budget.
  2. Creating and reviewing the business plan for the geographical area, including customer base, travel routes, and prospect potentials based on a 4-week rota.
  3. Conducting high-quality visits to existing and potential customers.
  4. Raising awareness and profile of the ABB Brand for Electrification in the region.
Qualifications for the role
  • Electrical background with strong sales experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Significant product knowledge of industrial products such as Power Breakers, Controlgear, Switchgear, Line Protection, Enclosures, Metering, Safety.
  • Collaborative approach, able to work independently and within a team.
