Job summary

Universal Science UK Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a Sales and Purchasing Coordinator to keep orders moving from quote to delivery. You will raise sales and purchase orders in Sage 50, handle customer enquiries, source materials at the right price, monitor stock levels, and arrange UK and overseas shipments with freight partners.

Candidates should have about two years of Sage 50 Accounts Professional experience, be proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word, and be able to juggle multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Around two years using Sage 50 Accounts Professional for quotes, sales orders and purchase orders.
• Experience buying materials and arranging deliveries, including imports and exports.
• Confident in Outlook, Excel and Word; ability to juggle multiple tasks without dropping any.
• GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Look after orders from start to finish, handling customer enquiries and quotes.
• Raise sales and purchase orders in Sage 50 and manage procurement with suppliers.
• Buy materials at the right price and monitor stock levels.
• Book UK and overseas shipments with freight partners and issue Certificates of Conformance.
• Step in to resolve delivery issues as they arise.
