Sales Negotiator

£25,000 - £27,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
£30,000 - £32,000 OTE
Working hours: 9am - 5:30pm Mon-Thu, 9am - 5pm Fri, and Saturdays (1 in 3, 9am - 1pm) with compensatory day off during the week.
Our client, a well-established estate agency in Chesterfield, is looking for an experienced Sales Negotiator to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Register applicants and match buyers to properties.
- Arrange and attend viewings.
- Manage an effective applicant database, ensuring regular contact with prospective buyers and a robust follow-up process.
- Achieve pre-set targets.
- Liaise and negotiate offers between vendors and buyers.
- Communicate with vendors regarding marketing feedback, viewings, hot prospects, and facilitate offers from buyers, agreeing on terms.
- Generate new and repeat business opportunities for market appraisals, instructions, viewings, and sales.
- Generate leads and referrals for financial services and conveyancing.
- Maximize board presence and promote brand awareness continuously.
- Conduct canvassing and leafleting to seek new business opportunities, including targeting competitors.
- Ensure all sales comply with the latest housing legislation.
- Maintain office systems, software, and working procedures.
- Manage diaries efficiently.
- Record messages, viewings, and appointments accurately.
- Produce activity reports as required.
- Report complaints to your Line Manager immediately.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and customers.
- Provide high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
- Comply with all regulations regarding Data Protection & Anti-Money Laundering.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- Share ideas to improve performance and efficiency.
- Perform duties outside of this description as reasonably requested.

- Maximize opportunities for viewings, sales, market appraisals, and instructions.
- Operate an effective diary system to manage vendor and purchase inquiries.
- Increase office market share and promote brand awareness.
- Build and sustain excellent working relationships.
- Operate within the latest housing legislation and regulatory standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of estate agency sales negotiation experience.
- Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
- Motivated and eager to succeed.
