Job summary

MMGY Global, TravelDesk division, is seeking a Sales Manager to drive new business across the UK travel advertising market. You'll own the full sales cycle, build relationships with advertisers, brands, and agencies, and champion programmatic solutions.

With 4+ years in programmatic or digital advertising sales, you will deliver compelling sales pitches, forecast pipelines, and stay ahead of industry trends. TravelDesk offers a dynamic, travel-focused environment with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in digital or programmatic advertising sales.
• Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including audience targeting, auction dynamics, and campaign measurement.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, agencies and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and grow TravelDesk's presence across the UK market.
• Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation and closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, brands, media agencies and programmatic teams.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
• Develop a healthy sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Advise clients on programmatic strategy, including omni-channel and multi-market opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Account Management, Operations and Programmatic Strategy teams to ensure campaigns are delivered successfully.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging ad-tech and competitor activity to position TravelDesk effectively in the market.

We're looking for a Sales Manager to join TravelDesk (MMGY's integrated programmatic and digital advertising business specialising in travel and tourism). TravelDesk blends programmatic strategy with innovative data and creative products to deliver highly successful campaigns for global travel clients.

You’ll play a key role in building new business, managing client and advertiser relationships and championing our programmatic solutions across the UK market.

This role is ideal for someone with 4+ years’ experience in programmatic advertising, strong client-facing skills and a passion for helping brands maximise the value of data-driven digital media. While prior experience working with travel brands or within the travel sector is an advantage, it is not a requirement.

• Strong knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including audience targeting, auction dynamics, and campaign measurement.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• The ability to build trusted relationships with clients, agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset and the confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity and a desire to stay up to date with industry trends and emerging ad-tech.
