A leading financial data provider in the City Of London is seeking a Sales Associate to drive sales of their Capital Markets products. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in selling data and software in financial markets and a proven ability to exceed sales quotas. Responsibilities include managing the entire sales process, building relationships with decision makers, and collaborating with account management. Sales Associate- EMEA Global Markets Group (GMG)
The GMG Sales Director will be a member of a high growth sales team within the S&P Global Market Intelligence (MI) division.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dedicated, revenue driven team responsible for client-facing activity including coordination of sales coverage to maximize cross‑selling opportunities.
This role will require broad experience in financial markets, software/data and knowledge of capital creation. With "hunter" style, you will be expected to generate new business whilst managing complex relationships, and large deals. You will consult with prospects/customers about their capital formation process to construct solutions that will help them reach their business goals. Leveraging your relationships within the buy‑side / sell‑side / procurement space will be important.
The sales team is seeking a credible and dynamic individual who will thrive on working with accounts where decision makers are business heads in the European Financial Markets. You will be responsible for developing and managing accounts and opportunities for S&P's Capital Markets products in the European market.
