Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk to join its finance team on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The role involves processing sales orders, raising invoices, and supporting the sales ledger and credit control activities in a hybrid Huddersfield setting.

You will liaise with sales, logistics and finance, handling queries professionally and contributing to timely customer statements.

Qualifications

• Experience of Sales Ledger and/or Credit Control is essential.
• Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn new accounting software.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Professional, polite manner and a can-do attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Processing sales orders and ensuring invoices are raised accurately and on time across multiple entities.
• Assisting with credit control activities and sales ledger reconciliations.
• Responding to customer and internal queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Preparing and issuing customer statements.
• Processing sales invoices and recording financial transactions.
• Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day activities and ad-hoc duties as required.

We are working with a successful business looking to recruit a Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk to join its finance team on a temporary basis therefore this role requires an immediate start.

You will play an important role in ensuring sales transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, working closely with colleagues across sales, logistics and finance.

• Location: Huddersfield
• Hybrid: 2 days office / 3 days WFH
• Hours: Flexible - core hours are 10am - 3pm
