Job summary

Avensys UK Limited is hiring a Sales Ledger Controller for our finance team at the Kidderminster head offices. You will manage customer invoicing and sales ledger processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing while resolving customer queries efficiently.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience in accounts receivable, and an proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Permanent, 37.5 hours weekly; salary £28,000 with benefits including pension and private medical insurance after 1 year.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales ledger, accounts receivable, or similar finance role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Sage 200 desirable.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills; able to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and proactively.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer invoicing and sales ledger processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and resolve customer queries.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing and account information; communicate charges clearly.
• Produce regular customer KPI reports and collaborate with other departments.
