Overview

Sales Ledger Accountant – Location: London; Salary: £32-34k.

We are looking for a highly switched-on, proactive, and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Accountant to join a fast-paced, collaborative finance team. This role suits someone who is eager to learn, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys building strong relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

• Handle the end-to-end sales ledger function, including raising invoices, managing aged debt, WIP, accrued and deferred income, and supporting month-end processes.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial support and ensuring accurate project billing and reporting.

What we're looking for / Qualifications

• Previous accounting experience with exposure to sales ledger activities
• Strong understanding of invoicing, WIP, and accrued/deferred income
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and SUMIF)
• A confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their career
• Experience with Paprika accounting software or within a PR, marketing, or advertising agency would be advantageous
