We provide a range of PR services to clients across sectors including e-commerce and casino, and have a proven track record of competitively establishing challenger brands to rival household competitors - from working with a local taxi hire company to outrank the likes of Uber for regional key terms to building the profile of a European coffee retailer to outperform Nespresso in the SERPs. Press Box PR is seeking a Sales Lead with experience in the e-commerce sector to unlock our next phase of growth. We're looking for a sales professional with a demonstrable track record of identifying and closing new business for our proven, market-leading services including digital PR, PR for SEO/AI/LLM visibility, creative PR and brand and talent activations.
You'll bring strategic experience creating and executing your own sales plans, and identifying, qualifying and nurturing leads against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), as well as successfully selling through your relationships and networks.
Experience in commercial functions of businesses with similar commercial partners, which has enabled you to build key contacts, relationships and credibility within the e-commerce space, is also of interest. Examples include media publishers, marketing and advertising, digital/social media networks and sponsorships.
If you have successfully sold services to senior decision makers in marketing, performance, sales, product and PR/communications in businesses who wish to reach consumer focused audiences at scale, we want to hear from you.
You should be comfortable listening to and consulting with prospects as you sell, as qualifying and nurturing leads is central to the role. Our case studies demonstrate the impact and commercial value of our work and the right candidate will use them effectively to unlock new sales.
However, general industry knowledge, expertise and credibility matter more here than direct experience selling PR services as the key experience is a track record of generating new sales for any product or service.
This role would suit a highly motivated sales professional ready to take ownership of their own sales strategy and targets and could suit someone looking to make the next step in their career - as the successful candidate would be the most senior dedicated sales lead in the team.
The successful candidate will be given an extensive entertainment and enablement budget ensuring they have the tools and support required to succeed.
You'll have the support and resources to be visible in your sector, backed by dedicated marketing, account management and subject-matter expertise to help you close and deliver business successfully. You'll work alongside our e-commerce team, providing a great opportunity to learn about our products and business, so no direct experience selling these services is required, but deep immersion and integration into the business is essential.
You'll be expected to identify and close business independently, handing over to account teams for long-term management, while getting the chance to work alongside experienced department heads, as well as Press Box PR's founder and executive team.
The ideal candidate will be able to spend at least three days a week in our London B2C head office as well as frequently traveling to pitches, meetings, entertainment events, industry shows and conferences (UK and international), along with regular collaboration with colleagues at a range of sites.
