Portakabin Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales and order-winning activities by promoting Portakabin products and services. You will execute commercial admin tasks, collaborate across teams for business development, and support onboarding and training of new staff.

The role emphasizes customer service, stock coordination, and timely quotations. It requires GCSEs including Maths/English, and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
• Experience in a target driven environment.
• Experience of business development activities e.g. inbound or outbound calling activity.
• Competent in using Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of SAP (or similar systems).

Responsibilities

• Execute all commercial administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate across teams to provide business development, commercial and administrative support to achieve order targets.
• Support onboarding and training for new team members as required.
• Identify and resolve issues, escalated when necessary to improve processes.
• Prioritise customer service to maximise satisfaction and ensure continuity of service.
• Coordinate with colleagues to confirm stock, refurbishment and fit out details.
• Expedite collection of outstanding customer payments with internal teams.
• Maintain relationships across teams and handle admin queries promptly.
• Prepare quotations accurately and follow up with customers on time.
• Respond to customer enquiries within SLA timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date customer and stock records in internal systems.
• Meet customer cash collection targets through timely payments.
• Conduct structured business development campaigns to meet targets.
