Job summary

Group 1 Automotive in Bournemouth is recruiting a Sales Executive for Porsche Bournemouth. The role offers a base salary of £24,000 with uncapped earnings and opportunities to progress within our global automotive group.

You will lead customers through the journey from welcome through negotiation to handover, actively prospect new business, attend events and product launches, and keep up-to-date with product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service with targets.
• Energy, enthusiasm and commitment to first-class service.
• Strong listening and communication to understand customer needs.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through a seamless journey from welcome to handover of their vehicle.
• Actively prospect for new customers via telephone, attend launches and events, manter enquiries.
• Maintain product knowledge and participate in manufacturer-led training.
• Recommend add-on products matching customer needs and preferences.
• Ensure effective use of enquiry management systems for tracking and follow-up.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and referrals.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

• Guide customers through a seamless journey, from the initial welcome to negotiation and the handover of their purchased vehicle.
• Actively prospect for new customers via telephone, attend product launches and events, and maintain a comprehensive enquiry database.
• Maintain in‑depth product knowledge and continuously enhance expertise through manufacturer‑led training sessions.
• Recommend suitable add‑on products that align with customer needs and preferences.
• Ensure the effective use of customer enquiry management systems for optimal tracking and follow‑up.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that fosters loyalty and encourages referrals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, demonstrating the ability to achieve targets and build relationships.
• Ability to deliver first‑class customer service with energy and enthusiasm.
• A genuine interest in helping customers and contributing to the team’s success.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills, focused on understanding customer needs.
