Job summary

Perrys Motor Sales Ltd in Dover is recruiting a Sales Executive to join our friendly team. You will be the key contact for customers during their car purchase, delivering a complete package that matches driving needs, including test drives and finance discussions.

No prior car sales experience is required; we offer a full Sales Development Programme to build the necessary skills. You’ll be supported by Perrys’ People First culture and team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service or sales background is welcome, experience not necessary.
• Good interpersonal skills and a friendly approach when engaging with customers.
• Full UK Driving licence is required.
• Willingness to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

You will earn a basic salary of £25,000 per annum with an OTE of £45,000. With a wide range of benefits on offer including:

Hours of work: Perrys are committed to working with our employees for a focus on a good work life balance. We are one of the few car dealerships not open Sundays so you can be sure to have quality time to spend with your family and friends. Our Retail Managerswork 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday on a 4week cycle to provide 1 in 4weekends off, averaging 41.75 hours per week

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity available for an individual who comes from or is interested in a customer service or sales background. Experience in selling cars is not necessary. We have a full sales development programme to ensure that you will gain the skills you need to be successful.

As a Perrys Sales Executive, you will communicate with customers to support and understand their needs, on their journey to buying a new car. Delivering not just a new car to them but a complete package to suit their driving needs. You can expect to cover a wide range of tasks to support the customer journey, from arranging test drives, to discussing finance options, to prospecting for new customers.

About you:

• You will have good interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to listen to our customers needs and take pride in engaging with people and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Open to new ideas and committed to doing the right thing for our customers, treating them fairly.
• You will have a full UK Driving licence.
• A willingness to work Saturdays
