Job Description:

Aquilo Recruitment is partnering with a market-leading printing business to recruit a Commercial Executive/Estimator for their growing, established team. This role offers development and growth opportunities.

Key Performance Tasks:

1. Review workload throughout the day to ensure efficiency of quotes, considering customer priority lists.
2. Review work in progress, raising anomalies or queries with the commercial and account management teams to ensure the best price is generated.
3. Work in accordance with company operating and quality procedures to ensure compliance.
4. Carry out projects as instructed, meeting project objectives and deadlines.
5. Perform other duties appropriate to the role to contribute to the company's success.
6. Continuously train and train others in estimating processes to support individual and team development.
7. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and company policies, maintaining safe working conditions and equipment, and reporting hazards.
8. Adhere to Quality and Security policies and procedures.

• Consistent attainment of estimating targets within deadlines.
• Estimates meet customer and company requirements and quality standards.
• Reduction of estimating costs.
• Work effectively as part of the estimating team to meet company goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work approach.

Skills:

• Experience within an estimating team; print industry experience is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of estimating processes.
• Proficient with computing systems (Tharstens experience is desirable).
• Knowledge of company cost centres/codes.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, remaining calm under pressure.
• Helpful and cooperative attitude.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Good understanding of the print market and competitors.
