WEC Group Limited's Laser Profiles division in Darwen is seeking a proactive Sales Estimator to join the estimating team. You will produce accurate cost estimates from technical drawings, create labour and material costings, and manage subcontract requirements while liaising with suppliers and preparing full customer quotations.

You will discuss capabilities with clients, read fabrication drawings, and contribute to delivering accurate, competitive quotations.

Qualifications

• Ability to discuss technical aspects and sell Laser Profiles capabilities.
• Working knowledge of laser cutting, fabrication and subcontract manufacturing.
• Understand RFQs and technical drawings; provide design guidance.
• Experience in sales, business development, and account management.
• Read fabrication drawings and complete complex quotations accurately.

Sales Estimator - Laser Profiles

Salary £40,000 plus Sales bonus

Based: Darwen Lancashire

Privately owned Laser Profiles is part of WEC Group who have provided fabrication, laser cutting, precision engineering, waterjet/plasma cutting, powder coating, heavy machining and CCTV mounting solutions for over 45 years.

Due to internal progression, we are now offering a fantastic opportunity for a driven Sales Estimator to join our rapidly expanding Estimating team within our Laser Profiles division based from our head office in Darwen

Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate cost estimates from technical drawings.
• Create labour/material costings and routing information.
• Liaise with suppliers and manage sub-contract requirements.
• Prepare and input full quotations for customers.
• Handle enquiries, provide technical support, and resolve queries.
• Work closely with internal teams to keep projects on track.

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to have technical discussions and sell Laser Profiles capabilities.
• Working knowledge of laser cutting, fabrication and subcontract manufacturing.
• Understand RFQs and technical drawings, providing practical design guidance.
• Experience in sales, business development, and account management.
• Read fabrication drawings and complete complex quotations accurately.

• Week 1 Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm
• Week 2 Mon- Thurs 8-5 Friday 1pm
