Job Opportunity: Technical Sales Engineer

Join a leading blue-chip manufacturing company based in North West (Manchester/Liverpool/Warrington). This global organisation specializes in manufacturing for various industrial sectors, including oil and gas, food, defence, power, chemical, and pharmaceutical, with over 60 years of engineering heritage and a multi-million global turnover.

Role Overview:

  • Support the UK Sales Manager in winning new business and managing key customers.
  • Drive growth through strategic development and execution of sales campaigns.
  • This is a home-based role with regular regional customer visits, approximately one day working from home and four days face-to-face selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience selling technical products within the engineering or industrial sectors preferred.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • Excellent communicator capable of engaging decision-makers at all levels.
  • Proven B2B sales record, with experience in medium to long sales cycles advantageous.
  • Personality, sales ability, and communication skills are more important than industry sector; engineering product sales experience is a plus.
