Job summary

Travis Perkins Hire in Kidderminster is seeking a Hire Manager to lead a busy team, drive sales and exceed targets in a fast-paced branch environment. You will develop a proactive sales action plan, coach colleagues, ensure equipment is safe and ready, manage stock, and support the integration of Hire into the wider Travis Perkins network with a focus on customer service.

• Experience in tool hire, plant hire or a leadership role.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and develop others.
• Proactive approach to driving sales and improving service.

Responsibilities

• Crush sales goals by developing and executing a winning sales action plan.
• Coach and train branch colleagues on tool hire and service levels.
• Ensure all tools/equipment are safe, well-maintained and ready for use.
• Balance stock levels to meet demand without excess inventory.
• Lead the Hire team, supervise daily activities and motivate high performance.
• Provide excellent customer service and upsell smart solutions to customers.
• Keep the team informed through daily toolbox talks and clear communication.
