Job description

This is an enviable time for a hungry and ambitious Sales Director with strong experience of direct sales within the telecoms and managed IT space, to be instrumental in all aspects of business growth and development within a dynamic, ambitious, and growing business, based in stunning new offices in Birmingham. With a package of £140k OTE (uncapped), my client is flexible regarding the split between basic salary and commission.

The Role

In an autonomous and highly influential role, the Sales Director will:

  1. Shape the sales strategy
  2. Provide strategic planning and execution of highly effective sales methodologies
  3. Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing sales team

They will sell telecoms, unified communications, mobile, connectivity, managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions to a wide range of predominantly SME clients in the Midlands area. As a "player-manager," the Sales Director will drive and support the sales team to hit individual sales and recurring revenue targets, work directly with key corporate and SME clients to deliver high-level sales consultancy, secure new business, and strengthen existing relationships to ensure retention and growth.

  • Experience of direct selling to a wide range of customers and industries, especially SMEs
