Sales Director/General Manager Andritz Separation (UK & Ireland)

This role involves driving sales growth in your designated region (UK & Ireland), developing strong customer relationships, and promoting our equipment and (line) solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, crafting tailored sales strategies, and leading your regional team to success.

Our organization is located in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies in the designated region that drive market penetration and sales growth.
  • Disciplinary and technical leadership responsibility for the entire Capital and Service area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee bids, tenders, and commercial negotiations for capital equipment and service.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities and segments.
  • Represent the organization in regional and global sales meetings.

General Management

  • Developing and executing business strategies to achieve company goals and ensuring alignment with global strategy and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Managing daily operations and drive operational excellence.
  • Lead and inspire the regional team, providing coaching and support to help them achieve goals and career development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.
  • Represent the organization in regional and global leadership meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • We are excited to meet candidates with 5+ years of sales experience in the Industrial (Chemical/Food/Mining & Minerals/Environment), Municipal Industry (Water & Wastewater) and/or Process Industry.
  • Knowledge of the ANDRITZ Separation Industry is a big plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing P&L.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute capital and service sales strategies.
  • Experience managing and growing a (Sales) team.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
