Data Analytics and AI (DAAI) is part of Wipro Enterprise Futuring (WEF) Global Business Line (GBL). The objective of this service line is to help client organizations transform into an “Intelligent Enterprise” – a digital enterprise infused with trustworthy AI into business processes, supported by actionable insights powered by curated data. The D&A team is dedicated to this vision through three pillars: Business process transformation, Data transformation, and Insights transformation. We leverage industry experience, deep technology expertise, and a comprehensive portfolio of services with an agile engagement model. We seek a Sales Specialist to join the DAAI group, helping regional clients shape their vision, strategy, and execution of Data, Analytics & AI products, services, and propositions, thereby growing Wipro’s business profitably.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant business experience within a large consulting or system integration organization, including at least 3 years in Data Analytics sales.
Sales experience should include successfully meeting revenue targets in Data and AI sales, account planning, solution selling, with a focus on growth KPIs such as order booking, revenue, net billable headcount, and operating margin.
The role involves guiding customers on their Data Analytics & AI adoption journey, ensuring existing Data & Analytics investments remain relevant.
Expertise in cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica is required, along with understanding various data, analytics, and AI workloads on cloud platforms.
Experience with operational analytics tools like SAP BW, BO, Qlik, Tableau, and knowledge of self-service analytical tools and modern platforms like ThoughtSpot and Incorta are also necessary.
Strong experience in Master Data Management, Data Migration, Virtualization technologies, and the ability to analyze and recommend future data and analytics roadmaps are essential.
The candidate will work with account teams, pre-sales, consulting, solutions, and delivery teams to develop and evangelize go-to-market strategies and value propositions within the account.
Exposure to sectors such as Manufacturing, Consumer, Banking, Energy, and Utilities is preferred.
Over 10-15 years of experience in technology sales, with high energy, strong business acumen, and technical aptitude. Ability to sell an expanding portfolio of IT solutions, including Salesforce products, tailored to customer needs.
Experience interacting with clients at all levels across various industries and regions, with a good understanding of Data Analytics domain and application & platform capabilities.
Maintain active engagement with leads through creative follow-up communications to promote DAAI solutions.
Must be creative, innovative, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and skilled in user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
This role is within Wipro’s Sales Group, focusing on developing global accounts for the Service Line, driving sales and revenue growth across verticals, and collaborating with enterprise business managers.
