Senior Consultant - Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Bids & Leadership positions within the Infrastructure, Utilities & Energy sectors

Location: London, NW10 (National Remit)

Are you a dynamic commercial leader with deep experience in construction workforce supply? Passionate about securing high-value contracts and building long-term client relationships across infrastructure sectors?

Our client, a major player in the UK construction industry, is looking for a Sales & Marketing Director to spearhead national growth across sectors including rail, highways, civils, energy, and M&E.

This is a high-profile leadership role—ideal for someone who combines strategic vision with hands-on business development and a passion for team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business & Growth

  • Lead national sales strategy targeting Tier 1 contractors, JVs, public bodies, and developers
  • Win frameworks, tenders, and long-term contracts aligned to operational strengths
  • Drive brand growth and candidate attraction through smart marketing

Client Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across procurement and delivery teams
  • Represent the business at industry events to drive visibility and pipeline growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align sales efforts with recruitment, operations, commercial, and compliance teams
  • Mentor and lead the Key Accounts team for consistent client service excellence
  • Support bids, pricing, and contract negotiations
  • Contribute at SLT level with market insights and growth strategy input
  • Lead the Sales & Key Accounts function, reporting on performance and pipeline

You’ll Need:

  • Extensive experience in construction, infrastructure, recruitment, or labour supply
  • Proven success in winning major contracts, tenders, and frameworks
  • Strategic mindset with strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Boardroom-level credibility and on-site presence
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally
