This is an exciting opportunity to join the Adyen team in London and establish the SDR function for the UK. As an SDR, you will use prospecting tools and research to help sales and marketing prepare target lists across enterprise and mid-market segments, including partners and system integrators. You will serve as the conduit between marketing and sales through managing inbound lead qualification and supporting outbound lead generation. Additionally, you will support sales in onboarding prospects and take full responsibility for signing and onboarding SME accounts. This role also acts as a commercial resource, collaborating closely with marketing, sales, partner, and account management teams.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the qualification process for inbound leads in the UK, using Adyen’s global frameworks and procedures;
  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine next steps;
  • Set up and execute outbound campaigns using sales enablement tools to generate top-of-funnel opportunities in alignment with marketing;
  • Identify and target new potential partners in the UK in collaboration with the Partner Manager;
  • Support sales managers with outbound tactics, lead generation, and onboarding efforts;
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Adyen at internal and external events;
  • Demonstrate the value of Adyen and our products in online and offline forums.

Who you are

  • At least 1 year of experience in inbound and outbound sales, preferably selling complex B2B products;
  • A strong team player who collaborates effectively with other teams and contributes to collective success;
  • Capable of working independently and making daily outbound calls;
  • Driven to learn, connect with prospects, and demonstrate a strong work ethic;
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools and maintaining a sales pipeline;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
