The Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, playing a key role in generating pipeline and qualifying leads across key verticals aligned with our partners and geographic locations. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships to target the right accounts, craft compelling outreach, and book meetings that convert into revenue.

This is a high-impact, high activity role ideal for someone eager to grow in sustainability tech sales and who thrives in fast-moving, early-stage environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to targeted accounts via phone, email, LinkedIn and any other method of communication required
  • Qualify inbound leads and route them to the appropriate Account Executive or Partnerships lead
  • Research target accounts to personalize messaging and understand sustainability data needs
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute outbound campaigns and follow up on event/webinar leads
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and lead activity in CRM (HubSpot)
  • Set up and attend intro calls, helping to shape early conversations and discovery
  • Monitor sustainability and ESG market trends to stay relevant in outreach
  • Meet or exceed weekly activity and monthly meeting quota targets as aligned to quarterly and annual company revenue goals
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in sales development, BDR/SDR, pre-sales, or a commercial support role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical topics clearly
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS and/or sustainability data/climate tech space is a strong plus
  • Driven, curious, and comfortable working in a remote-first, fast-paced team
  • Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (Apollo, LinkedIn etc)
  • Team player with a growth mindset and desire to build something meaningful
  • *Must be London based*
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience targeting financial services, real estate, manufacturing or energy/oil & gas verticals
  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GHG Protocol, TCFD)
