Responsibilities
  • Work within Sotheby's brand guidelines and explore specific creative direction on design projects, including marketing and corporate literature, and online and digital media.
  • Research concepts, create mock‑ups, and present ideas through to finished artwork for printing and online publication.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Design Studio, seeing projects through from initial brief to completion.
  • Maintain project archives and records, and share general office admin duties.
Qualifications
  • Design degree (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proficiency in Mac‑based design tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational ability, keen attention to detail, flexibility, and proven ability to interpret creative direction and follow brand guidelines.
  • Self‑motivated, multi‑tasking, positive, versatile, and a team player passionate about great design in both print and digital contexts.
  • Experience in motion graphics and animating digital content.
  • Experience working with cutting‑edge and/or luxury brands; in‑tune with current design trends in digital and print.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience conceptualising in Cinema 4D, Sketch, and After Effects is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated understanding, courtesy, tact, and creative empathy.

Based on‑site in New Bond Street, reporting to the Head of Creative Operations.
