As the Sales Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the sales division and a key figure in closing sales and serving as a point of contact for clients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our manufacturing client in Newcastle under Lyme for a Sales Coordinator to join a leading national manufacturer and supplier of niche and bespoke specialist products.

Duties for the Sales Coordinator:

• Follow up quotations with prospective clients to develop sales leads for Sales Advisors.
• Recognize opportunities to close sales.
• Apply customer service and communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Negotiate to secure the best deal for both the business and the customer.
• Update project notes and contact information in the CRM system.
• Communicate regularly with customers to provide technical and sales advice.
• Provide weekly reports and sales forecasts.
• Generate leads through tools such as subscription services, web, and social media platforms, gathering market information.
• Arrange and attend meetings with potential and existing contacts.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in sales development and customer service, preferably within manufacturing.
• Negotiation skills with experience in upselling, cross-selling, and closing sales.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Strong lead identification skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent online research and social media skills.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Team player with a collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum
