We have an exciting opportunity for a gifted Sales Consultant with a true ‘hunter’ mentality to join our growing team. You’ll play an important role in developing new business across residential and commercial property sectors, promoting Gumtree listings as their go to destination for advertising. You'll be purely phone based, making a high volume of outbound sales calls to identify opportunities, open doors and bring new clients to Gumtree platform. You’ll join a small, yet passionate SME sales team focussed in growth and brilliant customer service, whilst building the future of Gumtree. We are going through a period of hyper growth. Location: London Waterloo, hybrid working with 3 days in the office.

About the role:

You’ll join a high impact team focussed on proactive business development, upselling and cross-selling. Our approach is authentic and non-scripted, so bring your flair and build a pipeline! You’ll work from self-sourced leads, and undertake new business development across estate agents, letting agencies, commercial property brokers etc. This includes outreach, networking, referrals and cold acquisition. You’ll own the end-to-end sales process from identifying prospects to negotiating contracts and closing deals. It’s important you have experience across the entire sales cycle along with experience using Salesforce CRM or similar for accurate records. You’ll work to daily call targets and monthly KPIs and revenue targets, reaching for that top spot on the sales leader board. Once you are in, you won’t want to leave. What are we looking for?

  • Previous phone based outbound sales experience (high volume of calls) with a track record of hitting targets.
  • You’ll have a background in B2B sales combined with experience either in property portals, estate agencies, lettings agencies, classifieds, digital advertising or PropTech.
  • Experience in full end to end sales process. No appointment setting here, you’ll source your own leads and make it happen, building ongoing relationships with your SME customers.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills and raw sales ability. You’ll be a natural relationship-builder and comfortable pitching at all levels.
  • Self-motivation, resilience and drive - you wake up hungry and ready to go!
