Job description

We have a great opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our team within Vistry South East at our Walstead Park development (RH16 2QG).

As a Sales Consultant, supported by a senior team member, you will manage all aspects of the daily operations of the sales hub, ensuring alignment with the customer journey. You will take ownership of the sales process, maintain accurate records and documentation throughout all stages of sales.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Experience in new homes sales.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close sales via telephone-based business development.
  • Track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills across multiple channels.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and difficult situations professionally.
  • Exceptional negotiation and sales skills.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Interest in property and the housing market.
  • Flexibility in duties and working hours, with willingness to travel to various sales sites, including regional offices.
  • Full driving license and access to a suitable vehicle.
  • Patience, calmness under pressure, and a friendly, professional attitude.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively seeking out prospective sales and following up on all enquiries to maximize business opportunities.
  • Creating and delivering virtual site tours to customers.
  • Implementing new sales innovations to meet business targets.
  • Negotiating with customers for optimal sales outcomes.
  • Utilizing available technology to generate sales in various conditions.
  • Managing and scheduling sales visits effectively.
  • Having detailed knowledge of all sites, house types, and available plots within the designated hub.
  • Following the sales process diligently as per training and procedures.
  • Collaborating effectively within the sales team.
  • Evaluating and improving sales processes for efficiency and profitability.
  • Selling customer extras to increase profit.
  • Recording all customer interactions accurately and in line with GDPR.
