A leading company in tile distribution seeks a Business Development Manager to expand their market presence in Wales and the Southwest. This role demands a proven sales track record and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive growth and establish a profitable sector for PORCELGRES. The successful candidate will lead sales initiatives and manage a sales team to enhance market reach and customer relations.
Distribution Supplies Group Limited is a company comprising three trading distribution companies specializing in bulk supply of WALL & FLOOR TILES.
We are seeking to expand our business by leveraging the opportunities and alternative income streams offered by our products, which are currently underexploited.
We require a capable individual with a proven track record in business development to bring the necessary expertise and experience to further develop the PORCELGRES branded products.
The role involves selling and brokering pallet and full trailer sales of our product portfolio, which includes wall, floor, and patio tiles for both domestic and commercial applications.
The primary objective is to increase our market share in WALES and THE SOUTHWEST by actively selling to our customer base, including tile shops and distributors, which constitute the majority of our clients.
The geographical area extends from just south of Birmingham along the M5 corridor to the southwest and west of Swindon along the M4. Applicants based in the Cardiff/Avon area would be ideally positioned to cover this region.
The successful candidate should be ambitious and self-motivated, capable of taking control of the task and further developing this sector's potential.
Above all, the manager must establish a solid business model to create a profitable sector for PORCELGRES and deliver positive results and significant growth for our group.
Once established, we are prepared to invest further in the successful individual to accelerate growth.
The applicant must demonstrate success in previous roles and possess an entrepreneurial mindset, with a hands-on approach to all aspects necessary for success.
As the business expands, good man-management skills will be essential to lead and motivate a sales team to further increase our market presence.

Salary circa £35,000-£50,000 OTE.
