Job summary – What to expect:

As the Inside Sales Business Development Manager of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for sales, development, and growth of a defined customer group in alignment with company sales processes, plans and objectives. You will build and maintain excellent customer relationships to support solid business growth and implement a consultative selling style that operates independently daily.

  • Sales management of all customers within the defined territory providing a principle point of contact for Cooper Vision with the overall objective of achieving long term, year on year sales growth.
  • Day to day management of the territory, designated customers and Cooper Vision’s products and services.
  • To develop and introduce new products to customers on behalf of the Company to maximize sales growth opportunities.
  • Have outstanding knowledge of Cooper Visions products, clinical and technical information, product strategy, market and commercial positioning and brand messages to assist customers in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • To deliver training programmes to retail staff as agreed to improve knowledge of CooperVisions products and placement.
  • To form close relationships with Regional Managers and representatives within the account structure to provide the platform for commercial, retail training and educational programmes
  • To service the customer base of the company, using a blended contact approach of virtual and phone meetings with occasional face 2 face. Liaise with Customer Services to ensure service levels are both maintained and acceptable to the account.
  • To represent the Company at seminars, exhibitions and meetings as required to enhance the customer experience when interacting with CooperVisions team members

About you:

You will have some experience in defining and achieving sales results in a customer facing role. You will also work well under pressure, be self-motivated and have strong prioritisation and organisation skills.

Experience & Education:

Required

  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial, tenacious and resilient.
  • Awareness and ability to make a positive impact with prospective and existing customers.
  • Understanding of investigative questioning and sales process.
  • Highly pro-active and able to work successfully alone as well as within a team to pre-determined objectives.

  • A forward thinker, and a proactive approach to new ideas and ways the overall UK team could improve.
