Location: London
Hybrid Working - minimum 3 days in office (flexibility for client meetings/travel)
Type: Full Time (Part Time can be considered; figures herein are on Full Time basis)
About the Role
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, highly driven and passionate Sales/Business Development Lead to own sales strategy and execution for our premium acoustic panels. This is a rare opportunity to grow with a new business and progress as we scale. You’ll work directly with the two founders to build a business you can be proud of.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution (Core Focus):
* Develop and execute UK sales strategy for akustikplus
* Build, manage and foster long-term relationships with a pipeline of clients to include architects, designers, specifiers, contractors, and distributors
* Actively develop leads, follow up, quote, negotiate, and close deals (end-to-end ownership)
* Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and client meetings
* Establish CRM activity, processes and pipeline management
* Provide market feedback, monitor competitor activity and identify marketing opportunities to support sales and inform product development
* Work with the founders to align sales goals with brand and marketing strategy
Marketing Support (Early-Stage Contribution):
* Assist in development and execution of campaigns, promotions, product launches, and case studies
* Support content creation (social media, website, email newsletters and other targeted outreach)
* Help to shape brand messaging and tone of voice
* Liaise with external agencies, graphic designers, or content partners when needed
* Contribute ideas and insights for trade shows, events, or showroom activations
Note: Marketing duties will scale back as business grows.
Business Building:
* Play a role in setting up our London showroom/office
* Maintain clear, consistent communication with the founders and help shape company culture
* Contribute to business planning and long-term growth strategy
About You
* 3+ years B2B sales experience with interior finishes and/or architectural materials
* Existing network in UK architecture/design/construction/A&D sectors
* Proven ability to develop leads, close deals, and own sales targets in specification sales to architect and interior designers
* Comfortable problem-solving in unstructured, fast-moving and fast-growth environments
Highly Desired:
* Hands-on marketing experience (campaigns, content, or digital)
* Startup/scale-up mindset – thrives in an open, entrepreneurial environment
* Commercially astute with strategic planning skills

* Self-starting and ambitious, with the drive to build something from the ground up and eager to take full ownership of results
* Comfortable working independently but collaborates and aligns on a shared vision
