Join to apply for the Sales Associate - Dual Brand Specialist role at Stryker

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our Surgical Technologies Sales team covering London & South East England.

Working closely with an experienced Regional Sales Manager and Sales Partner, you will develop and execute strategies to increase the use of Neptune and SafeAir products with new and existing customers.

In this role, you will:
  1. Develop skills to become an effective sales representative.
  2. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure compliance with current contracts.
  3. Learn and practice techniques to grow sales in your territory through the Surgical Technologies portfolio.
  4. Focus on market-leading brands such as Neptune and SafeAir.
  5. Manage accounts within your territory, including day-to-day operations of key accounts.
  6. Handle stock issues, instrument requirements, organize loan kits, conduct customer training, and provide guidance on the safe use of Stryker products in hospital and theatre environments.
  7. Support other sales managers to focus on new business and account development.

This is primarily a training role with the goal of becoming a full-time Sales Representative with independent targets and objectives.

Initially, there will be no individual sales targets; bonuses will be based on milestones and regional achievements.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Managing a territory effectively to meet sales objectives.
  2. Implementing and delivering training sessions and workshops for healthcare professionals.
  3. Understanding customer needs to promote and sell Stryker products, with training on basic selling, presenting, and negotiation skills.
  4. Managing product provision channels like consignment and loan services.
  5. Providing excellent customer service within hospitals, building relationships with key personnel.
  6. Prioritizing patient safety and appropriate product recommendations.
  7. Collaborating with team members and attending training and conferences.
  8. Conducting product trials and evaluations in clinical settings.
  9. Recording customer details and developing business plans to prioritize activities and grow the business.
Job requirements:
  1. Some sales or business experience is advantageous but not essential.
  2. Commercial acumen and an interest in customer engagement.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office and presentation skills.
  4. Interest in anatomy and physiology.
  5. Ability to engage, influence, motivate, and work diligently.
